The county-owned beer, wine and liquor store at Montrose Crossing reopens Jan. 27th after a six-month-long makeover. Now operating under the name Oak Barrel & Vine, the store will have 25 percent more shelf space, a dedicated tasting room, and a new focus on spirits and local products. A selection of limited-release items will be available throughout the opening weekend, along with tastings of local beer and spirits. The Rockville Pike store is the second in the county to convert to the Oak Barrel & Vine concept; the first one opened in 2021 at Cabin John Village, and third is now under construction in Gaithersburg.
